Recipe for beef sausage with potatoes in the oven

Ingredients:

  • 600 g of beef sausages
  • 2 medium potatoes, quartered
  • 1 red pepper, cut into strips
  • 1 green pepper, cut into strips
  • 1 large onion, cut into rounds
  • 2-3 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp. beef tallow.
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp dried rosemary
  • 1 tsp dried thyme

Method of preparation:

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C.
  2. Spread the potatoes, peppers and onions in a large pan.
  3. Sprinkle with tallow, salt, pepper, rosemary and thyme. Stir well.
  4. Place the sausages on top of the vegetables.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for about 30-40 minutes, or until the sausages are golden and the vegetables are tender.
  6. Periodically check and, if necessary, turn the sausages so that they cook evenly on all sides.
  7. Serve hot with finely chopped garlic on top for extra flavor.
