Ingredients:
- 600 g of beef sausages
- 2 medium potatoes, quartered
- 1 red pepper, cut into strips
- 1 green pepper, cut into strips
- 1 large onion, cut into rounds
- 2-3 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp. beef tallow.
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tsp dried rosemary
- 1 tsp dried thyme
Method of preparation:
- Preheat the oven to 200°C.
- Spread the potatoes, peppers and onions in a large pan.
- Sprinkle with tallow, salt, pepper, rosemary and thyme. Stir well.
- Place the sausages on top of the vegetables.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 30-40 minutes, or until the sausages are golden and the vegetables are tender.
- Periodically check and, if necessary, turn the sausages so that they cook evenly on all sides.
- Serve hot with finely chopped garlic on top for extra flavor.
