Ingredients:
- 1 beef tenderloin (about 250-300 g)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp. beef tallow
- 1 clove of garlic, chopped
- Fresh rosemary and thyme
- 100 g of asparagus
- 100 g of cherry tomatoes
Method of preparation:
- Season the steak with salt and pepper.
- Heat lard in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium doneness.
- Add the garlic, rosemary and thyme to the pan during the last few minutes of cooking.
- In another pan, cook the asparagus and cherry tomatoes with a little olive oil, salt and pepper until golden.
- Serve the steak with the asparagus and tomatoes on the side.
