Necessary products:
- 1 beef T-bone steak (450 g)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp. butter or beef tallow
- 1 clove of garlic, crushed
- Fresh rosemary and thyme
Method of preparation:
- Allow the steak to come to room temperature by removing it from the refrigerator at least 30 minutes before cooking.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the fat.
- Season the steak liberally with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Place the steak in the pan and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for a medium-rare steak.
- Add the garlic clove and herbs to the pan during the last few minutes of cooking, scattering them around the steak.
- Once the steak is done, let it rest for a few minutes before serving. This helps distribute the juices evenly
